Mrs Lara Ogunkoya

Mrs. Omolara Aina Ogunkoya is a 1985 graduate from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) where she obtained of BSc in Modern European Languages majoring in French. Prior to graduating, she received a scholarship from the French government for a compulsory one year international study in Grenoble Isere, South East of France. There she obtained a diploma of proficiency in French language in 1983. Upon completion of NYSC, Mrs. Ogunkoya enrolled at the speed-writing secretarial college, Ikeja, obtaining a diploma in secretarial administration in 1986. She has worked in several multinational companies and banks where she was exposed to various aspects of Business Development, Relationship, Management, Customer Service, Branch Operations and the Treasury function attaining managerial level by 2004. She resigned her appointment with Union Homes Savings & Loans Plc as an Assistant General Manager having held various positions over the years. She singularly was responsible for the significant growth in the banks’ balance sheet and deposit base whilst company treasurer, growing the asset of the company from N27m in 1994 over N50b in 2005. She was also head of operations, as well as Zonal Business Controller, overseeing business of Lagos Island, V/I & Ikoyi branches of Union Homes. She holds two Masters Degrees - Master of Public Administration, majoring in planning, Research & Statistics, as well as MBA (management). Mrs. Omolara Ogunkoya has interests in the Real Estate, Agriculture and General Trading and currently an Executive Director in Muklar Limited.
